Since 2010, Stefano Otoyo has been a member of the E.sperimenti Dance Company in Rome, with which he has taken part in numerous productions, including Hopera, 50m², Convergenze, and Attacchi di pane. Alongside this work, he collaborates with various dance companies on projects that promote cultural and artistic exchange at both national and international levels.
Stefano’s performative research mainly develops within dance theatre and physical theatre, with a strong focus on body awareness and movement exploration. He is the founder of the Flow Dynamics technique and co-founder of the Coda Dance Movement project, established in 2019, as well as creator of the urban teaching method “LIGHT WARRIOR JOURNEY,” which now has an international community.
He is also a certified yoga teacher. Since his travels to India, he has integrated self-awareness practices and breathwork as fundamental tools within his dance pedagogy. In both Light Warrior Journey and Flow Dynamics, he combines urban dance, movement research, conscious breathing, and inner awareness to help dancers become more centered, embodied, and present.
From this journey, he developed a guiding method collected in his first book, Let the Dance of Life Guide You, which integrates his experiences in spirituality, self-awareness, urban styles, freestyle, and movement culture.
Stefano has participated in international tours, appeared in Italian television programs, and won numerous hip hop battles. He has also taken part in film productions and television commercials, both in Italy and abroad. Currently, his artistic and teaching practice — as a dancer, choreographer, yoga teacher, and movement researcher — focuses on body awareness, consciousness, and improvisation, blending different dance languages in theatrical and performative projects.
